Informational Sessions via Zoom
The Arkansas State Library is working on a fair, flexible plan for distributing funds from ARPA that will enable meaningful impact on each library’s community. Of the $2.66 million ASL will receive, $2.4 million will go directly to Arkansas’ public libraries.
Next week the Arkansas State Library will hold virtual meetings to share its plan with Arkansas public library directors or their designees. Each meeting will cover the same content, so there’s no need to attend more than one.
Topics Covered
- The formula for determining the amount of money each library is eligible to receive; and
- What types of expenses libraries will be allowed to spend the money on.
Library directors are strongly urged to attend one of the meetings, especially to gain understanding on the limits of how ARPA funds can be spent.
