The Arkansas State Library will be hosting a Zoom meeting with the Broadband Development Group and the Arkansas library community to discuss ways that libraries can help support and inform the development of a statewide broadband plan.
The Broadband Development Group (BDG) was selected to create a broadband master plan for the state of Arkansas. To obtain as much feedback as possible from stakeholders from across the state, BDG plans to hold town hall meetings in every county. They are interested in partnering with libraries to host town halls and in working with libraries to help spread the word about the project. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about this effort.
