The Arkansas State Library is located at 900 West Capitol Avenue, Suite 100. The library is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (except for state holidays).
Public access computers, free Wi-Fi, and printers are also available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Active Arkansas state employees and Arkansas citizens are eligible to register for a library card with the State Library. Library cards must be applied for in person.
In addition to library card privileges, Arkansas state employees may also apply for remote database access.
The Arkansas State Library accepts ILL requests from public, college, university, and special libraries, as well as requests for work-related materials for full-time permanent Arkansas state employees.
The Arkansas State Library, Information Services, serves as the information resource center for state agencies, legislators and legislative staffs, while also serving the state's libraries and the citizens of Arkansas.
